Elegance Often Radiates From Within

Hi Lovelies!

Recently, I had the luxury of booking a stay at the Omni Severin Hotel in Indianapolis. I was amazed at the remarkable history this beautiful hotel encompassed.

After having experienced a few instances of heartache in my life through failed relationships and other romantic ventures, inevitably, these hits to my ego made me realize a few things:

  1. You do not need the company of a man to create romance in your life.
  2. Spoiling yourself from time to time is non-negotiable as you age.
  3. Your value should not be determined by someone else’s perception.

Contrary to some belief, I am an elegant woman. I was raised to display poise and class. This trip to the Omni helped me increase my dating standards and not for any monetary expectations. I couldn’t care less about that. I value others’ kindness and respect above all.

Regardless, I booked my stay for $125. Which was a great price considering I was staying at an Omni Hotel. I was delighted with the friendly staff and accommodations throughout my stay at the Omni Severin Hotel.

After taking a long steam shower in my room and relaxing in a luxurious spa robe, I slipped on a beautiful gown. I decided to stroll by myself to enjoy all the magnificent history the Omni Severin had to offer. My first stop was getting a complimentary glass of cabernet at the hotel bar, and from then on, I just let my eyes gaze as I strolled through this time capsule.

Immediately, I was brought back to the roaring twenties. I could have only imagined what the parties would have been like here.

As the brilliant Oscar Wilde once said, “To Love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance. ”

Now, not to say I wouldn’t like to come back to this hotel with the company of a man, I hope to stay again someday, slip on another beautiful gown, and dance in the ballroom adjacent to the grand piano in the arms of my love.

Being single is fun. However, I am now 26 and would enjoy building a meaningful connection with someone again. I hope to find my own Gatsby one day and live a life full of laughter and romance. But until then, I will enjoy my company and sip my cabernet as I please until the right one comes along and sweeps me off my feet.

To all the single ladies reading this, please do not let a failed relationship dull your sparkle. You deserve the finer things in life and to feel like a princess. Just because your prince isn’t here yet, I can promise you he is out there searching for you. Remember, you are enough. Always and forever.

Sweetly,

Samantha

  2. You should try the Pfister in Milwaukee. Same vibe, rich history. First hotel in the world to have individual thermostats in guest rooms. still has all the old beautiful architecture inside and out.
